My ball of prediction says it's something to do with Boba Fett eg a new star wars bounty hunter game, mandalorian related, an open world star wars rpg or hopefully not, but a game that is based on the live action tv series coming soon so a tv/movie based which are usually lackluster.

what is it they have confirmed?
I went on Lucasarts facebook but for some reason i just get their timeline page,which is crap,i want a normal facebook page like everything else
Basically, they're announcing a new game on, I believe it was, Thursday. Apparently it's also supposed to be a new IP, not a sequel/prequel.
So chances are we will most definitely be seeing something from them at E3 this year, though it's probably not going to be SWBF3. |

They need to make battlefront III! I have a starwars news app on windows phone 7. If anyone in here that has a good rss feed besides battlefront3.net tell me and I will add it to the app.
I honestly think battlefront III needs to come out.
I think that it will be soon and the article about a new game franchise could mean renaming of battlefront III to something else but doubt it.

New Star Wars Franchise to be revealed next week

A brand new Star Wars game franchise is currently in the works at LucasArts and will be unveiled next week.
Spike TV has the scoop and plans to go public with more information next Thursday in its GTTV show.
"I am blown away by both the caliber of the team on this project and their bold vision for this new 'Star Wars' title," teased Spike host Geoff Keighley.
"I can't wait to introduce our viewers to this game and show off the footage that left my jaw on the floor when I first saw it."
There's no word on what platforms it's coming to or when it might see release.
The brand's most recent video game outing was the underwhelming Kinect Star Wars on Xbox 360 earlier this year. BioWare's MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic launched last December to solid reviews but subscriber numbers have recently been falling.

For crying out loud, if the same thing happens with the next game then it did to battlefront 3(2007) I will just rage, lucasarts is a sensitive child, they want to pull the cracker not anyone else..

a friend has pointed out that the Jedi Knight logo is the same as Jedi Knight 2 that was released ages ago,so that video is likely fake,sorry

sorry if this has been posted before,its another E3 game article and a youtube video teasing Jedi Knight 3,apparently the guy got an invitation to see the unannounced game

E3 is a great time for surprises, and wouldn’t it be great if LucasArts finally revealed Battlefront 3? Now I’m not saying they will, but when you get an invitation to come see an “unannounced game in development,” you can’t help but be optimistic. So, being the curious lad that I am, asked whether or not this unannounced title would have lightsabers in it. The answer wasn’t confirmed, but it wasn’t denied either. There has been numerous posts about Battlefront 3 being in the works, then being canceled, so anything is possible.
LucasArts did confirm they were using the Unreal 3 engine for a couple of games; an aerial combat game being one of them. Maybe an X Wing vs Tie Fighter title is in the works? What do you guys think? How about a new Jedi Knight game?
that last question,may be what is in development,the people on TXB forums posted this Jedi Knight III teaser trailer from February,whether its real or not i have no idea,looks it though

I have a better idea,contact LucasArts and tell them we don't want Star Wars Battlefront III,no doubt they will throw the title out ASAP just like the other Star Wars titles we don't want
