Nah, she's not usually this introspective and deep. In general she's a sarcastic, adrenaline-addicted, dead-aim, sharp-witted, crazy genius with a lightspeed brain and a razor tongue who scares the crap out of the civilian crew with her shenanigans and gives the captain a headache at the best of times. (set his couch on fire because she got bored locked in his office kind of headache.)
In context, She's just shot her friend to save his life( who happened to be the ship's captain and is comatose as a result), and is on the run from the authorities because of it. That always tends to make people a bit melancholy. In reality, I was trying out a new style of writing.
Reminds me, I need to finish a chapter.. i've been putting it off for months xD
I could actually use an outside opinion. Anyone up for commenting? Intelligent comments only, please. Maybe that'll knock this frikkin writersblock back where it belongs.
"While adrenaline and survival instinct make it easy to force the guilt back into the corners of my mind, it is the quiet moments that break down any defence one might have in place. As you stand in the dark shadows holding your breath in hiding from another police squad, or sitting alone on a makeshift bed in an abandoned building staring at a blank wall, it strikes at you in another vicious attempt to drag you over the edge of an endless cliff of despair.
There are times when a step forward feels like an impossible feat; when choosing a path is the moment when time itself freezes, only to force reality back home in a terrifying roar, all senses overwhelmed. It is in these moments one is forced to review oneself, to see if one truly has the courage to do that which they know will break them so irreparably; shattering everything they are into a mass of fractured pieces scattered across the definition of a person."

It's hilarious how much governments and anti-piracy organisations are wasting everyone's time. The second you use a proxy, you bypass all blockades... And everyone who has tried to use MSN and Facebook at work or school knows how those work.
Closest we've gotten to winter here torrential downpour and "Open the floodgates!".
Avatar's scheduled for next week here. It's just glorified CGI Pocahontas. (I love it for the CGI, I absolutelly hate it for the sheer lack of an original plot.) Just finished watching Angels & Demons. (One of the best soundtracks ever; 160BMP by Hans Zimmer.)
It might be useful to them, perhaps. To those of us who do not have their reference list, not so much.

It wasn't really dangerous, lot of flash, very little bang. But it was a bit funny to see Alan do a rolldive off the steps and behind the container when he walked out of the door. It was funnier to find katie hiding inside the broomcloset with a mop.
But the error number lets you look up what sort of error it is if you don't already know. You can learn to understand the difference between say, 503 ("check back here a little later") and 403 ("lol sux 2 b u").
