yeah mild blood not blood and gore... what is mild blood now enough to bump up the rating to M???? Are we so wrapped up in trying to not scare the kids? The Force Unleashed 1 was not kid friendly at all. I see no reason why this one should be. KOTOR 1 wasn't kid friendly. KOTOR 2 wasn't. Republic Commando most certaintely wasnt! RC was the closest game you could get to seeing blood and gore in a Star Wars game, especially when it splatters on your visor. No one made a issue of it. I highly doubt that the media will waste their time bashing a Star Wars game as they have other games, because of a little blood and bloodless lightsaber dismemberment.

Your last post:
Do you mean T or M?
Because The Force Unleashed is a decently violent game, without blood or dismemberment. It deserves a T, but nothing more.

Mandalore shall rise again
I think i was saying that blood just doen't make a game T, which i think
some ppl were saying, other than the violence, that made it T. But I'm
supicious now, EVERYWHERE else- even the esrb site still has it as RP. I
just went to the TFU2 site and they changed it from animated blood-
which is appearance- to mild blood- which is bleeding and not like
painted on its really blood. This is starting to make uncomfortable how
they are doing this. And your second comment because of that Tfu2 is
again as i said supicious.

Kind of dismemberment subject, will the larger machines show signs of damage too? For instance, Force Fury, I start chucking a tonne of stormtroopers at an AT-whatever, will the system's mechanics for environmental damage carry on to them and show dints or scrapes? That'd be rather interesting.

In the Wii Gameplay video that can be found on Darth Demon Hunter's blog, i saw a Imperial trooper get cut in half(not just their legs)... so i think it is just for wii, but not for the 360 or PS3

What about their own grenades? A fun aspect of TFU1 was watching the Militia and Jawas throw their detonators at me and then blast them back at them. If any such grenade holding enemies are featured in TFU2, what do you think will happen when they get blown up by their own grenades?

The recent gameplay demos at Celebration V have shown that dismemberment is a lot more prevalent than we first thought. Nearly every enemy loses at least one limb and a lot of heads are rolling

Did anyone notice that the Gorog concept art has the Gorog (which looks like it could be some weird human hybrid in my opinion) that a piece of skull is showing as well as that he's drooling blood.

The people who buy the best-selling family games such as Just Dance on the Wii are not the people who bought TFU, or are going to buy TFU2. If Lucasarts doesn't market this game toward the right crowd, by giving us what we've asked for, their games won't sell. The reason TFU sold so much was because of the unbelievable hype.
I agree with you lego fan and also I think that if rating is something that can stop from making a better game then it is pointless to make games at all.
P.S.
Personally I think that if an entertainment company can barter the quality of a product only to access a bigger audience then it is time to boycott that company.

animated blood which mostly means appearance, but the puddle thing might be taking into account. Then there's the boss fights we dont know about. and just cuz it has blood doesn't make it T.

However there is no blood in the dismemberment. From the footage I saw at Comic-Con it looks like the only blood there is, is when he gets hit by a blaster or somthing and you can see small puddles of blood of the ground.
