crossed the bridge and jumped over and down and went into a new area and had to assemble a console thing and pulled two levers and a bunch of enemies came out. My robots r2d2 and c3po are all gone. i am alone. I can't get off the 4th episode and 4th chapter. Does anyone have a clue how I do this.

You don't need to jump to the other side. Shoot the troopers to give Ben Kenobi a bit of breathing space - and he'll activate the bridge for you...
