Okay, but what about the slowdown?
I dont see a reason for game to run at 12 fps all
suddenly in middle of 2nd level (force unleashed
campaign) when it was 30 all the time.
Have you tried replaying that level? Does it happen consistently in the same spot?
I've experienced extreme, permanent slow downs like that too, but it just occurs randomly for me. All the sudden the game's framerate will plummet and it will stay like that until I exit the game. However, when playing the level again, it won't happen at the same spot (or at all). It's only happened rarely so far; I'd say about once for every 3 hours I've played the game. It's just some random bug. Athough, I should say that several of the times it's happened (though not always) it seems like picking up Sith Holocron triggered it.

How to fix that?

"Everytime I "save" my game , loading doesnt continue where I saved it , but from last checkpoint, which sometimes is very far from my save location."
That's normal. It's a console port, and that's typical save behavior for console games - even these days.
Prince of Persia, Assassin's Creed, Prototype, the newer Tomb Raider - all those sorts of 3rd person action/adventure games have save systems like that where they only save up to the last checkpoint - even on PC.

I put in the 1.1 patch, but the game still doesn't detect my Logitech Wireless Rumblepad II. What do I have to do to get the Logitech controller working?
They SAID the patch added support for it, this 1.1 patch was the reason I bought the game and it's not working. Just like before the patch....just pretends like it's not even there. All my other games are working fine with it. I am NOT going to buy an X-Nox controller just for this game!
I see a text fie in the install directory that has a profile of the various controllers that supposedly got suport added, but how do I make it work?

Did anyone experience slowdown in the (I think in the middle of, dunno actually cause it became unplayable)* second level* (droid island) of force unleashed campaign?
My game is patched to 1.1, had it reinstalled and same thing happened.
Game starts to slow down/lag soon as I enter certain area.
It is a legit copy.
In addition, im having problems with saving my progress.
Everytime I "save" my game , loading doesnt continue where I saved it , but from last checkpoint, which sometimes is very far from my save location.
Anyone who solves my probs gets a virtual dark-side cookie.
Thanks in advance.

just out of curiousity, has anyone else had an issue with this patch and their AV software? I run AVG and downloading the patch from the developers website screams at me that it is a Trojan. Had to download from Fileplanet just to be able to download it and even then an attempt at installing the patch gives me the same AVG complaint. Downloaded it on a different PC with a different AV (Norton) and no issues. Last time I had this happen it was due to the compression used on a file, some sort of thing that has become popular with hackers and AV software developers not wanting to even try to fix their scanners for those files that are legit. Thoughts?

yes ofcourse i bought the game. And it worked now. (i switched over to windows 7 <-- (dunno what that had to do with it) and OCed my cpu even more to 3.0GHz) from 2.4 - 2.8 and now 3.0GHz it runs fine and the patch increased my performance by a bit which allowed me to enable 8xAA through nHancer. It look amazing and plays amazing!

Are you sure you bought the game at a reliable store? Someone here posted that this problem also happens with illegal copies.

the only thing i found that the patch helped was the high detail check box that is in the start up program. It helps to run the game faster and smoother for me.

OK just one small detail I forgot to mention : my C an D drives are in fact 2 separate hard drives... well, I guess I'm off for some more Windows-washing...

if you get partition magic or something like that you can increase the size of the windows partition if you have any unused hard drive space or could shrink one drive and give it to the other.

Hi there,
Another issue I'd like to report about this patch : for me the patch locates my game correctly and the install starts, BUT it seems to copy an insane amount of data (like 13+ Gb) somewhere on my C: drive, whereas the game is installed on D: ! At first I just thought it needs to decompress the patch files on C: and then copies them to the game directory, but man ! More than 13 Gigs ! For a patch ?!? On my Windows partition ?!?
The problem is that I just can't save such a huge amount of space on my C: drive, so I haven't been able to complete the patch installation...
Anyone else experienced this ? Any idea on how I can install this patch properly, without having to delete my whole Windows partition... ?
Many thanks in advance !
