and don't forget taking out the garbage...mowing the lawn and yelling to your neighbor about his cat taking a dump on your freshly cut lawn...
Now that is the full Indy experience!!! Who needs spiders snakes or rounded bolders when you have the above mentioned to keep you preoccupied.
ha ha. yeah. this is what we get after being forced to watch those terrible videos. those guys were so full of it. they kept repeating over and over again how the staff of kings provides the most authentic Indy experience. yeah sure. i can have a more authentic Indy experience by going to the bathroom, mowing the lawn, or pouring milk into cereal.
*Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings
Indiana Jones returns for his most incredibly boring and uninteractive expedition ever.*
"I Mat sheldon or whatever my name is ...is very excited about this" the graphics suck!
and Indiana Jones doesn't even look like himself..BUT DON'T WORRY YOU CAN PLAY HIM AS HAN SOLO" see what a brainiac I am.
In addition to that we didn't give him a satchel because of his bad back problem " WE ARE CARRING and UNDERSTANDING at LA
So I Mat I forgot my last name would like to share this opportunity to thank all Indiana Jones fans and to tell them how happy I am " LOOK AT ME SMILING" with what I have done to Americas Number one Iconic and Legendary Hero.
" PS stay tooned for more of my boring videos so I can persuade you to buy the game"
I'm sorry I forgot to smile...
Oh and yes play this game with an enemy of yours so when the game gets too boring you can always use your PS2 or Wii control to clubber him or her on the head...so they can get the full Indy experience...
So what are you waiting for...GO BUY THE GAME!! NOT
Hey George Lucas -- or should I say George Lucre -- thanks man! Thanks for this massive piece of garbage disguised as a game! And thanks for the Crystal Skull, too! All of the nails are in place and Indy is now firmly in his coffin, officially dead and six feet under! Thanks for destroying him! Maybe next we?ll get a new Indy movie with Shivers LeBuff in the lead as the new Indiana Jones!
How do You beat this fire boss in Panama?
I got the Wii version and graphic looks really good-better than Pc Emperor's Tomb. Controls are good enough but gunfight is so lame I hate it!(Same as Disaster:Day of Crisis). Indy looks humpy and his face is better on PSP(maybe Han model looks more like Ford) ! His voice was much better in Emperor's Tomb.
You cant skip cutscenes or turn of tutorial on first levels and one time (Panama) game freeze. This isnt Uncharted or even Emperor's Tomb its more casual game same as Lego Indy(Lego is far better).
Where the hell LA lost their quality?
I finished it too....I really liked the ending because the staff turns into a snake and scared Indy, and I'm not going to find the missing artifacts to get Han Solo and Henry Jones Sr because I don't think it was worth it. I'm going back to the store and demand a refund immediately.
i won't go on, but i second, third, fourth, whatever everything that's been said about this game. supremely disappointed at every aspect save for the music. i beat the fire boss in panama, but every time i beat him, it goes back to the beginning of the level. no interaction with the environment at all, linear levels, very little to no exploration, no real control over indy (jumping, rolling, keeping stuff for later use, guns, etc). emperor's tomb and infernal machine were on a completely different plane compared to this game - it's not even close. maybe more and more money/resources at lucasarts is going into star wars/other games, but it's clear that it's not going into the indiana jones (non-Lego) franchise, which is a shame because Indy has extreme potential. I'm really upset about this one. Definitely the worst game I've ever purchased, and that's expectations aside -- it's actually that bad.
I found out who this game is good for..MY GRANDMOTHER!
She can't see well so she won't mind the graphics
She can't hear well so although Indy sounds like he is drunk she won't mind
and the story well she is old..way old.. so I don't think that she would really care!
All of the preceding posts about how this game is lacking have been absolutely correct. I was positively giddy to get this game yesterday, but within 15 minutes of playing it last night, I realized it doesn't hold a candle to Emperor's Tomb. This has all the appearances of a Wii game shoehorned onto the PS2 platform. I was expecting a great platforming-style game with some opportunities for exploration, but instead a linear story with insanely easy puzzles and repetitive combat that only allows for using guns in a cheesy "gunplay" mode has been thrust upon me. I am perplexed as to why LucasArts cannot partner with a studio to come up with gameplay similar to something like Uncharted; it seems like Indy would fit in that genre like a glove. So far Emperor's Tomb has been the only game to come close to this style of game. The saddest part of all of this is that the poor showing on this game will serve as an excuse to prolong the next attempt at an Indiana Jones game. The fact that Indy may never show up on a Gen3 console is truly disappointing.
There is more missing in this game than just the satchel!! TERRIBLE graphics!! Slow boring fights!! Ugly icons that pop-up everywhere and really make the game look cheezy. Very limited weapons and fighting. It doesn't look a thing like Harrison Ford!! I can't believe that, I can't believe they can never make it look like him. It is not that hard to look at reference photos from every angle and create a persons face!! Doesn't sound like him either!! Many times I couldn't even hear him at all. Also, the sound cuts out on it especially when you are punching guys!! Indy can't walk when he has a torch in his hand. Many of the characters faces have translucent eyes and hair (you can see the backgrounds through them). I do have to say that I love the story, it just makes me sick that it was waisted on these 10 year old graphics. The real Harrison Ford has wide shoulders and long arms, this guy is the opposite, they couldn't even get his body type right! LOL (in disgust) I wish they would have just canceled it for another 2 years and got it right on the new consoles. The motions are jerky at times and the game is constantly stopping during action sequences to load. Mine has even froze up a few times. I do like some of the sets and camera angles that they use, but the rest is pretty lame. Its mainly the graphics, there are some cool ideas and areas of the game, but the graphics ruins it all. My wife came in and laughed at the game and my boys kept saying that they like the Emperors Tomb much better. I wish LucasArts would redeem themselves by creating the same game with awesome graphics and better motion and playability on the new consoles like they boasted about for years!! One more thing that I like....the choice of music is perfect!! Many times they even used some Crystal Skull themes, very good choice. P.S. I also have a PSP but am not going to waist any more money on LucasArts crappy games. Go buy a Tomb Raider game if you want to know how it should look!!
