Has anyone played the CoD 4 SW mod for the PC? Basically, these guys made a mod that uses stormtroopers and rebs as your playable characters, from the first-person view angle. They have lots of maps, like the Dune sea, Bespin, and Mos Eisley; you also get to use SW weapons. I think that this could become an excellent game, if the right effort is put into it.

What I think would be great is if Battlefront III stepped away from the third person angle and made it the more modern FPS ( FYI: i don't want a cod look alike, I was just using that as an example).

I would think that it would be great if BF3 was like that, but also had more customization, such as being able to chose your race and appearance in multiplayer. (example: you could be a mandalorian as in the armor, or a Zabrak, etc, but merely as cosmetics).

Weapon customizations would be REALLY cool, especially with the wide variety of SW weapons available. I would just LOVE to have a Verpine sniper rifle or shatter gun in my hands. Vehicle battles would be cool too.

This is probably a minor opinion, since I know a lot of people like the third-person aspect, and they probably wouldn't want this kind of stuff since its pretty mainstream now, but I have always wanted this kind of game. Just thought I'd get my idea out there.

I am very annoyed. Sony made the PS3 not backwards compatable with ps2 games. Now i have to go buy a ps2 off ebay along with controllers and memory cards just so i can go back and play my favorite games of all time, Battlefront 1 and Battlefront 2. Lucas Arts could have seriously cashed in on the potential profit of releasing Battlefront 1 and Battlefront 2 on PSN.

Lucasarts has anounced a project called ''first assult'', which apperes to be Battlefront 3(or atleast a game very, very similar). So we believe they are making Battlefront 3, but we can't confirm.

TFU was good TFU 2 was really bad PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the best ever game of any franchise ever!! even friends of mine who arent fans of star wars (wierdos) loved the battlefront games and now have to play cod or battlefield cos nothin better

Need anything above windows xp from my research but windows 7 works the best.
Search google and use third party download links for xpadder to get a free older version if you dont want to pay 10 dollars for new version (their might be an old maximum pc cd with xpadder on it somewhere though from the days when it was free).

This is only for starwars battlefront I game on pc but i mapped controls as best i could like they were done on the xbox version.

My reccomendations for lucasarts:
1: make swbf3. your fans are waiting
2:don't trash singleplayer instant-action, sometimes it's fun to just decimate and entire AI army
3:keep the customization from the psp titles.
4:It may be interesting to mix up the armies, like have imperial stormtroopers vs. cis droids, or Republic clones vs. Imperial stormtroopers
5:include aspects of fan fiction or the comics and TV series' (arc troopers, for example)

LucasArts, if you want to make so many sales, make millions in revenue and profit, surely revamping the battlefront franchise is the smartest move you could do, without advertisement you would make millions! A new Star Wars Battlefront would outsell mostly all other games that would come out in the same year and continue to get interest from gamers which may not be a fan of shooters, or Star Wars, but this would peak their interest getting you more popularity, you would win back a lot of fans popularity too instead of keep crushing it and losing potential sales.

Thankyou for listening and I hope you take into account the benefits you would get from making this game a reality.

Battlefront III is a much needed breath of fresh air for the StarWars franchise. The Old Republic is good but there is the need for a first person shooter, to scratch that I wanna be a Storm Trooper or a Rebel with a blaster itch. It would be nice to take off from the ground in an XWing, Tie Fighter or Millenium Falcon type ships, board the enemy vessel and destroy it from the inside. Come on George, do it for the fans who watched the first move a billion times waiting for the second one, the fans who made you very wealthy. There are many of us who would really like to have this game. Loyalty cuts both ways, for the many fans who have stuck with you, through Return of the Jedi to Jar Jar Binks and beyond. Please George, throw us a womp rat and may the force be with you, always.
