FYI guys, if you go to your settings and change the targeting option to Toggle, it'll make things A LOT better. Doing this also gives you ability to do a sprint side step and backflip while you have something locked on, it also gives you a couple more air maneuvers. One settings I don't really understand is the Advance Force Powers option, it gives you a yes or no option and when you change it there's no difference, well...for me anyways, I didn't notice a change in anything.

so this demos pretty insane..pretty much exactly what i imagined
but i got a slight issue with the grab force power..
i know it seems helpful to have the object thrown, sorta lean towards the object but even on sith lord (highest level offered) it still happens shouldnt the power kinda progressively stop leaning towards the target..if it seems like im just full of it but test it yourself..when fighting the At-St throw an object close to the inverted knees of the thing and it well arch towards the cockpit..
its not a huge issue but it kinda seems like thats what would seperate the men from boys..mastsers..aprentices sorta way
this is by far one of the greatest demos ive seen and played for the 360 an im pretty sure gonna be the best SW game ive ever played..
please no hate on the grammar just lookin for confirmation of this leaning sort of thing
thegoaa420 im sad to say but ya cant shove that the At-St off the ledge..first thing i tried

Quit complaining, you US people get everything out
first unless in situations like this. You get the
whole game 3 days before us for crying out loud, in
the EU is is released on 19th Sept. not the 16th!!
You also get all the major Star Wars releases first
becuase Lucas is in America.
Sorry, that was in response to a much earlier post!!
Oh stop crying, you Europeans get a lot of things earlier than North America. Its 3 days, if you can't wait 3 days, Im surprised you have waited this long...

I got some annoying glitching going on in my demo.
Occasionally, especially when Vader first extends his saber in the cinimatic, the video will pause for half a second, then resume, but when the Apprentice speaks, his mouth moves about a second after he starts talking.
I same thing happens with the audio on the LucasArts Logo.
Don't know if its just me or not.

played the demo at length on both the ps3 and xbox. as i own both. but gotta say the ps3 looks cleaner. the cut scene shows the difference best. but essentially the xbox version looks darker in terms of contrast.
I've noted a couple of bugs i hope will be adressed: ocasionally you'll see a tag off the end of SK saber on the ps3 version. kinda like a slight white line that goes away after hitting the attack butt again.
I have noted that sometimes after the force impale move and keeping the enemy in the air he doesnt die and will infact shoot back after his life bar is depleated and still his legs and arms flail around instead of going limp.
I believe i may actually change my preorder from xbox to ps3 now. what were the noted differences forum links again?

So does anyone else like grabbing that infinite force powerup near the beginning and then proceeding to spam Force Push like a crazy lunatic at everyone?

Agreed!
I also thought the Euphoria in the game was fantastic. I was questioning it at first but once you get to interact with it yourself in the game it all feels right.
Edit: I swear, one of my favorite things to do in the demo is get close to an edge, force grab in enemy, have him hanging out in the open and toss him 50-100 feet straight up in the air, then catch him before he falls to his death(that's the tricky part), then throw him straight up again, and keep repeating. It's so awesome...

Still can't wait to see how DMM will be utilized when we have real Force powers. You could hardly even dent metal with that wimpy push in the demo.

That was an awesome demo! The lightsaber strikes were most impressive, and I was starting to get okay with the lightsaber/push combos. I've played it three times so far, and I like it better each time! Just wish Force Repulse had been in there. Oh, well. Still loved it!

Very good demo, targeting's kind of hard to get used to but it's easy in the end.
I was kind of disappointed with the DMM usage, but I think when we get more powerful we'll be seeing more stuff breaking. I only say this because in the oldest trailer the SA was blowing up the bridges we see in this demo in the hangar bay with Force Repulse.
Just asking, but how many times can you level up? I've only done it once, even though I've had really stylish kills after the first level up.

The reason there is no dismemberment is probably
because in the movies there wasnt much dismemberment
besides Qui Gon Jin's death and Annikans hand and legs
and when anakin cuts off dooku's hands and then head,
and when yoda chops off the heads of the two clone troopers on kashyyyk,
and when luke gets his hand cut off on bespin,
and when mace windu gets his hand cut off by anakin,
and when luke chops off the wampa's arm,
and when obi-wan cuts off the alien's arm in the cantina in episode IV,
and when luke cuts off vader's hand,
and when obi wan cuts darth maul in half on naboo
actually, there are lots of things getting cut off by lightsabers in star wars. i don't NEED it for the game though. wouldn't hurt my feelings though.

Anyone noticed any bugs/glitches? I've found a couple, sometimes when you impale someone the sound of the lightsaber returning keeps going on and on, the only way to get rid of it is to grab an object or another enemy and use impale. Same thing sometimes happens with objects, like I destroyed this one object one time and the explosion sound kept going on and on until I destroyed another object and then it went away. These glitches don't really bother me that much, it doesn't happen very often.
I made this same post in another thread, there's so many different demo discussion threads I don't know which one I should post in anymore haha.
