ok i did the patch and and i also got the game from the internet but kotor 1 works great with no problems at all but kotor 2 crashes after the intro. My pc spects are as follows:
dell inspiron 1525
windows vista 32 bit
intel chip set grapics card 965 version
3 gigs of ram
60 gig hard drive with 5 gigs remaining
just updated the pc yesterday
also have directx 9.0

When I click that link, it says this download is unavailable. Please try it again later. I don't know what else to do. I'm having the same problem, with it saying the game has stopped working. My graphics card is at a warning level but that shouldn't be a problem since my EaW game says I need a better graphics card and runs fine. I would really like some help.

I just spent a good part of the evening trying to fix mine as well. Here is the solution (at least it worked for me). Go to configure in the launcher and hit the checkbox to disable movies and to force hardware sound. That's it. I have the latest Nvidia drivers for my 8600M and the kotor2 patch. Give that a try.

On a side not, it seems to be hit or miss. I got it to run but now it won't open. I'm going to system restart to see if that fixes the issue. All the same, best of luck.

There! That's all of it. Boy that was ridiculous. I hope it's worth it though. Hopefully you could also help me with the lag that I'm having for Galaxies as well, since I was asked to do this same thing for that game too, but I'm hoping I'm not going to have to repost all of this someplace else.
