My daughter, who is 7, and I both love this game. It had a hard time identifying my daughter at first, but we did the kinect tuner from the dashboard again and it recognizes her everytime now. We make sure the room is well lit, but little to no sunlight for it to work the best. We do have to stand way back for it too.

We've palyed through the story mode twice and still like to play it more. We like every mode in the game. Wish it had stormtroopers and X-Wings though, love the original triology I grew up with! Overall, it's our new favorite game!

how far back are you? i notice this one needs almost 6ft.

So the kinect does recognise you from the xbox dashboard?

I have not been able to play the game, at the main menu the game does not recognize me It is not my kinect sensor I have made sure. I was told by xbox support that there will be an update to fix this problem, they told me four days ago I was wondering if I could get an exact estimate as to when the update will be going through.

If your flailing the kinect is not going to keep up.

I've never had it any problems in any of the modes. Pod Racer works really well. Rancor rampage works really well. The dancing works is really fun.

The only time I noticed it during story mode was due to me flailing.

So its like any other style of motion controller like the Wii or the Move. You have to get used to it. then it becomes natural.

Well I have watched some reviews online and the game looks fun but there are complaints about the system not following the persons movements. Is this true? I also priced out a new kinect and star wars would run about $130.00 from amazon.

its more like mini arcade games than an engrossing experience like the force unleashed games. I'm not sure if story mode warrants more than one play-through.

I like the podracing and dancing most. It's just fun to play.
