Well, I'm getting the game soon, and I already love it by the videos and graphics.
Seems like it's all coming to an end.... I had waaaaaaaaay too many donuts.

Should I give the game a 10? Not really, the game has no depth to make it immersive and the lack of story playability makes it like watching a poorly choreographed television show where you're told to perform without any practice. The keyboard is not a great controller and lacks the ability to be used effectively when using cardinal movements mapped onto WASD.
For example, the cloaking blade droid hits all the time without err, and the double jump misses all the time giving you big airtime (at least until you die). BUG? I doubt it. Who sells controllers for a PC laptop? Not interested.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I saw A New Hope in theaters at the age of 3 and a half and have been hooked on everything regarding it ever since. However, despite that, I can only give this game no higher than a 6.5 out of 10.
In a nutshell, the only way I enjoyed this game was to think of it as a PS2 game. Mainly, because after my fiancee and I played through the game, we agreed that all Lucasarts and Krome did was make a PS2 game and throw some achievements/trophies in for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
A lot of improvements should've been taken care of first:
1) The camera shots. What was with parts where you were off in the distance and the camera stayed where it was? And perception when it came to thinking you were lined up for a jump (ice stages for example), forget it!
2) The controls were pretty easy to figure out and adapt to. It was the responsiveness and/or lack thereof that became irksome!
3) Not having the option to turn off Yoda's tutorial.
4) The game should've been at least done in 720P HD for the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360. If you're going to launch it on the PS2, PSP and DS, that's what you save the standard definition version for.
While a fun game (for the most part), I agree with what most people have said. After Force Unleashed, it was a major let down. Hell, even LEGO Star Wars was made better!

The game got lots of flows. Graphics, Camera settings etc. But I like The Clone Wars Series. And I was very eager to play as Captain Rex, Animated Anakin, Obi-Wan, Cody etc, so 'Republic Heroes' sure hit the spot! So I like the game. I also played it in Padwan and master levels and played each level at least 7 times in Master difficulty.
So I can say I enjoyed the game
Still, I got bored and uninstalled it after 3 weeks

I enjoyed this game, despite the graphics. In fact, I played it twice, the first as Padawan and the second as Master.

I think the game is pretty good, but it's not going to be epic. The gameplay is fun except a lot of times it's too easy. (or I'm just that good. ;))

Yeah. I mean there are SOME aspects of the Wii version of the Force Unleashed that were good. Such asm the Temple missions (at least before the USE came out) and the Cloud City mission, but the graphics on the PS3/360/PC/MAC are much much MUCH better, and overall the gameplay is better too.
But anyways, what am I talking about here? This isn't the TFU section.
I have Republic Heroes and so far I'm enjoying it.... apart from a few areas where it will slow down for no apparent reason... probably has to do with the fact that I'm using a laptop for it and in those areas im being swamped by Droidekas....

Yeah, they ruined Force Unleashed on Wii. I had big hopes for it. They were crushed.

Got this game for Christmas and to be honest other than the camera and the issues that this causes (multiple constant deaths in the jumping side of things) I love it, the animation runs slickly, and the levels where you play as the clones are fun. homie 202 did you download this from the Playstation store?

You guys judge the game by looks and engine. Appreciate this game because I don't think you can wall jump and do all those fancy tricks in any other Star Wars games. Play the game and make the best of it. If you guys don't like it try Co-op, is alot better than solo. The only bad part is the Camera, like once I played it and the camera was at least 100 yards away from the character. I rate the game an 8.

Clunky and frustrating. It's like the mechanics of Lego Star Wars, which rocks but did everything badly. Kids love Clone Wars but they all get frustrated trying to play this game.

Well I got it and I gotta say I am loving this game alot. I played the demo and it was fun but the actual game is soooo much better then the demo. I think they may have patched the jumping as well cuz it seems really easy. Also now that they added coop online it will shoot up the replay alot IMO.

The game is alright. I just really dislike the camera.
It's either at an off angle or way too far away.

I am going to be getting this game soon. I really liked the demo I mean yea it's not like it's the greatest thing I have ever played but I thought it was fun and being the HUGE Star Wars fan I am I really really want it. My brother has it and he is 22 and he has told me how much fun he has had with it. And he said it was one of his favoirte games he has played recently.

True, I think the gameplay was better in KROME's
version, but the story was explained much better in
the PS360 versions. However, there are several
cutscenes in the Krome versions that the PS360 don't
get, such as a space battle onto the way into the TIE
factory, and some dialog before Felucia.
Yeah, but I mean gameplay wise. When I was playing the PS3 version I got really annoyed and by the time I had to replay every single location, I was just in it for the story. As far as the PSP version went, the gameplay was much better, and it was an overall longer game then the PS3 (although, I'm sure the Ultimate Sith Edition is now the longest package, especially since they added trophies since the game originally came out.)
I agree with you 100%

Well, I don't think Lucasarts should use Krome again.
EVER.
In Krome's defense, the PSP/PS2/Wii edition of TFU was much better then the PS3/360 version of it (note: I have not played the ultimate sith edition, but I have owned both the ps3 and psp versions of the game.)
The PSP had great lightsaber combat and boss battles, while the ps3's boss battles were either: spam force push until your opponent falls over so you can hit them while they're down or the other way to kill a boss was use force lighting, run around until force builds up again, then repeat the process. Not to mention, the psp version had more force powers to play around with. In this case I would have to say (IMO) that Krome made the better game.
After playing both, I have to say that if the PSP/Wii/PS2 gameplay was mixed with the physics and graphics of the PS3/360 version, then the hybrid would have been a fantastic game.
I am not denying that this game is bad, I have not played it, but the demo was pretty mediocre.

I always dreamed of really cool clone wars game, smth
like when the force unleashed meets Clone Wars!...
Just imagine what a display it would be with all of
the troops, glorious battles, blaster bolts flying
around in the game of the force unleashe caliber!!!
But krome and Lucas Arts've just ruined my dream!!!
eh just bout every1 hates the prequels compared to the original trilogy. in reality the prequels including the new series are average while the original trilogy was a work of pure genius. i wouldn't really care for them coliding, i mean they're already in one epic era, why make it stoop down to a less epic era? but yes, this game sucks, and anyone who doesn't think so must have not seen any newer games in a while. when i say a while, i mean at least 6 years ago. this game could've had average graphics 6 years ago but still have bad gameplay anyway
