The only real solution I've found for this at this time involves starting the game, then alt-tabbing, going to task manager and ending the explorer.exe process. You should then be able to play it fine. When you're done, go back into task manager and run explorer to restore your taskbar and desktop.
I was just wondering if anyone else had tried to install galactic battlegrounds and expansion on windows 7. The program installed fine, but the menu screen has some color distortion and the background (trees, ground) in game have messed up colors. The units themselves appear to be fine. If anyone has any suggestions to try please let me know. I have already tried all the different compatability modes with no success.
