Second, the game WILL already be patched if you are installing from the Best of PC collection.
If you are using the original CD-ROM version, however, I suggest you do an auto-patch. If you can get GameSpy or XFire, they can download the patch, and will auto-install it. I think GameSpy is include with BattleFront.
Also, try running the game from its folder instead of using the shortcuts (find and launch "battlefront.exe"). This sets up a "path" for future reference on your HDD, so the patch should auto-detect BattleFront.
I'm trying to update the game to English patch v1.2, but get this message :-
Star Wars Battlefront not found.
PLease reinstall the game from the original CD-ROM and try again.
Well, I did as instructed, I've tried D:\Program Files\Lucas...
I've tried C:\Program Files\Lucas...
I've even tried C:\Star Wars Battlefront
But I still get the same error message... anyone?
I also assumed that maybe the version was already updated to v1.2, so I tried 1.3, but it wants 1.2 to be installed first
P.S. Got a bad case of Darth Vaders revenge? May the force be with you
