I am also having this same issue with my game. I have e-mailed tech support on multiple occasions. The first three times I tried to contact them I got no response. On the fourth try they thought I was talking about a game play issue. So I had to try to explain it was a bug and when there was going to be a patch release. This is the response I got:

We here at technical support have no information on upcoming releases or updates. Please keep posted to http://www.lucasarts.com for information on future releases. Best Regards - Joe T

My son and I are both having a difficult time controlling R2D2 in mission 1 with General Grievous. I assume when I get R2D2 on the platform I'm supposed to hit the spacebar and fly across the gap to the other side and attack the other droid. The problem I'm having is that I'm at an angle where I need to hit the spacebar and push the ^ and buttons after spacebar it works, and if I use the v and > arrows it works, but any combination with the ^ and < buttons with the spacebar will not allow the spacebar function to work. We cannot move on to the next set of missions without being able to hover over there. I've played many games on this computer and haven't had any control problems with them together, so I know that they keys are all working.

As a side note, I've confirmed that the controls for all characters (no matter which one I have selected) will not allow me to use my spacebar when I am angling them in the direction with my < and ^ arrows.

Currently I have Windows 7 64 bit
