I agree with you guys. Its kind of frustrating, especially for customers who don't live in areas where Gamestop has not yet been franchised (places in Mexico or Europe for example). Some customers who bought the Maulkiller codes of eBay were unable to redeem them because their servers did not have the Maukiller skin (No Gamestops, No need to use server space for the code).
I personally just bought the two Force Unleashed games yesterday, 2-4 years after their release. So I think if LucasArts puts up the Deak Starkiller and Maulkiller costumes and saber crystals up in the game marketplace, many people, including the customers in Europe or Mexico and myself, would purchase them.
Unfortunately with all the layoffs and new heads, I don't think there will be any new or old DLC. But since the old Maulkiller and Deak Starkiller costumes were already previous DLC, it shouldn't be hard to just put them up on the Marketplace. I understand a new ending DLC would take time and effort to code, but you already have the data for the Maulkiller costume. Why not just put them up and get an additional source of revenue?
I noticed that for a while the Hoth Mission was only available to the Ultimate Sith Edition and was not on the marketplace for a long time. When it was, it was released almost two years later. Now, its been two years after the release of FUII and there haven't been any new DLC. No costume pack, nothing. Not even two simple costumes that customers were unable to get because they didn't live near a Gamestop.
I agree. I had no idea the Collector's Edition dlc had an expiration date until yesterday. This is the first time I've had to deal with a collector's edition having an expiration date for dlc. It sucks.
I definitely agree, Lucasarts really dropped the ball with the DLC, I've been trying to get my hands on a Maulkiller for months. I was due one in the first place but Gamestop has never responded to my emails either. Both companies are handling the situation poorly. Adding the content as DLC would be easy cash for LA
When have you ever observed LucasArts personnel posting on these forums? And just in case you're not aware, LucasArts personnel have violet colored screen names.
This is the technical support section for the Playstation 3 version of TFU 2. Petition threads are not permitted here since they are not a tech support issue. If you wish to make a complaint about TFU 2 then the thread to do that in is here
That is it! I have had it with Lucas Arts ignoring my emails and posts. They have ripped everyone off who purchased The Force Unleashed 2 with its lack of content and length. I am officially starting a petition on this thread to have them held accountable for their folly. This all could have been avoided if they would give me a proper response to my questions and made all the content that is "exclusive" or "pre-order" available to all of us(I don't want it free, just available to purchase from PSN). All they do when a complaint comes in is give you the address to write head office and no one does anything to help. I think I may dedicate the rest of my days ripping and uploading Lucas Arts games on torrent sites for everyone to have free of charge until they properly respond to my issues! If anyone from Lucas Arts actually reads this, pass this information on. To anyone else who feels burned by Lucas Arts, leave your comments here for them to see.
Shame on you Lucas Arts, you really know how to treat a good paying customer!
I was wondering when they are going to release the Maulkiller/Saber Crystals as regular download content? I think that everyone who purchased the game is entitled to that content as the game was too short! At the very least they could release it as pay for DLC like Endor and the Costume Pack. Plus PC users have access to this costume and they never pre-ordered, and how is that fair to the rest of us? Does anyone else feel the same way, or am I the only one who felt unsatisfied with being denied access to content already on the disc? If you do, please comment on this thread and let Lucas Arts know you feel about it!
