Wow, that stinks. Battlefront 3 is the game I've hoped for since Battlefront 2 got boring, but SWToR is the game I look forward to most now.
Maybe with all the money they make, LA will publish Battlefront!... or Lego Monkey Island...
EDIT: Tried to qoute something about the financial situation and LA possibly having had to choose between BF3 and TOR.

I hope it will be Battlefront. I've have SOCOM FTB 3 for the PSP, it's graphics and gameplay are miles ahead of the Battlefronts for that platform. Also, they had good multiplayer. I know they have experiance in PS3 with SOCOM Confrontation. Not well-liked by SOCOM fans, but its a good enough standalone game and it says good things about the publisher that they can make something like that for a current-gen platform.

Where did you get that list? Some of those games are cancelled, not announced, or their execs have said that They wont make it for another few years....

Even if it doesn't get announced even though it's pretty much guaranteed a release at E3 theres also a great list of games coming out this year:
Assassins Creed 3, Battlefield 3, Batman Arkham City, Brink, Crysis 2, Call of duty modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty(Sledgehammer), Driver San Francisco, Elder Scrolls Skyrim, Gears of War 3, GTA5, I am alive, Killzone 3, Mass Effect 3, Rage, Spec Ops The Line, The Lord of the Rings War in the North and Uncharted 3
To name a few but Battlefront 3 would out do all those games.

Nah in one of the statements it says their working with a new punlisher and theyve already worked with lucasarts

So, did anyone ever figure out what Slant 6 is working on? It's been a while, but they are still hiring for their "AAA franchise console action title" of an "amazing publishing partner"... animators needed for "making characters, creatures and vehicles move". I saw rumors of Resident Evil: Raccoon City, but they are just as likely as SWBF3.

In 2009, after turning point and legendary, Spark was working on another game that eventually got canceled. So its probably for that game.

Click on his link and then look for a space in it where there shouldn't be one and remove it. In this case the word "spark" in the link has a space somewhere so just remove that and you should be able to access the image. Worked for me.

I actually agree with Char, we can't completely trash DR that much. Ok, fine, we can place at least 98% of the blame on DR. But Free Radical set them selves up for defeat. Haze was really, really bad considering the hype it got. So that was strike one. Strike two is the fact that they were planning Battlefront 4 before even making Battlefront 3. So they were wasting money on a project that was not even going to happen for a year or two (I am referring to Battlefront 4 assets).
Instead they should have gone straight to Battlefront 3.

Thats usually what game companies do though. They get close to finishing up a project, and the artists aren't needed as heavily anymore since at this point its mostly finding and fixing bugs. So the artists and designers start concept work for the next game. So again, blame LucasArts for allowing FRD to have developed SWBF3 for over 2 years without a single amount of marketing behind the title. Thats not FRD's fault, they have nothing to do with the marketing of the game. It's something some of the employees even mentioned in the interviews after they got laid off.
I mean look at Battlefront 2. Apparently that game took 10 months to develop. The game came out on November 1st, so that means development started in January of that same year, but the game was officially announced in March I believe. That is only 2 months after development. Lucasarts has apparently forgot how to run a business these days.

It appears to me that theyre listening to me and have removed it. However it showed a rugged female charachter which could come from some post modern apocalyptic setting with a large sword holster on her back. If there arent charachters with swords in legendary then spark unlimited are working on nothing to do with lucas arts.

LA is obliged to let out SWBF3 as SWTOR LA, series SWBF one of the most popular any more does not belong to a series all over the world. But to overtake CODBO and BBC2 it is necessary strongly will work.
