_______________________________________________________________________________ _
I am a boy from Spain, I just bought the game two days ago and about 5 or 6 hours I had already passed it to replicate and juego.Escribo protest that game so bad that it has become, as his predecessor in seuperaba all aspects with a vengeance.
What the hell is that a clone of Starkiller? Can you spoil a good story over?
The story of "The Force Unleashed" was a piece of history, the plot was incredible and was really well developed and not as in "The force unleashed 2" is a terrible story about a clone of Starkiller. What a crap story, go get us more money unpleasant to fans of the series.
To make matters worse I have had in Game 4 levels, only 4 levels but what is this cheating? Where are the Rancor or R2 or AT-ST or the variety of soldiers who were in the first game? Where are you?
I think in all "The force unleashed 2" I have only seen 4 AT-ST, is ridiculo.Y to say about the combo or the variety of movements that we had in the first game, the variety of worlds as Fenucia, City of clouds, etc ...
Honestly, to make a crappy game like this, best to do nothing and leave everything at the end of the first game, because continuing the story of the first, this could have been a great game, please do not make more games like this to spoil buenisima had a history as "The Force Unleashed"
The only good thing about this game are the graphics.

Well thanks lucasarts, you rip off our money then fire the tfu2 staff instead of your bad quality checkers and testers?WTF LUCASARTS!
1]What is up with lightning?it looks like a single strand of spaggheti instead of the thousands seen in tfu1,also in jedi outcast and academy lol, games out for 10yrs
2]Who the hell did you hire for a story writer?A guy who just left rehab?Even a 12 yr old can write a better story!
3]Unfinished?Do you have a 70 yr old testing the game?cuz u gotta be pretty blind to miss all the bugs!
4]Short?I bet the end script was 500wrds long or less worth in voice acting.
5]We didnt get the answer wether or not hes the real sk or just a clone did we?
6]WERE THE HELL ARE THE HIDDEN SPOTS LIKE IN TFU1?!?!?
7]Kill and destroy only?no side-quest like the 1 seen in tfu1 were sk saves the sarlacc?
8]Patch?Been over a week and yet no patch for broken game?,Even darth sion frm kotor was less broken thn this game
9]Were are the tons of combos we had in tfu1,this game barely has half we had in the previous version.
I'considering returnig this game next week unless we get some sort of patch or dlc!
MAJOR LET DOWN LUCASARTS!

Sad to say, but I've played better games for FREE on my Android phone...
I'd like to see LA themselves actually cut me a check as a refund. This isn't Amazon's fault (who I pre-ordered it from). It's LA's... they published this poo doo after polishing it and saying its ready.
There is an awesome commercial on TV.. You never see ANY of that in the game!! All the build up with the clone tanks etc... and NOTHING in the game.
We got screwed on this game plain and simple. What's really sad... Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions is a WAY better game than TFUII is and its in the same genre. I'm halfway through that one (also playing on the hardest difficulty) and I've got over 7 hrs in the game. TFUII took me maybe 6-7 on the outside.
DLC is doubtfull, according to the press they fired the FUII staff well before the game launched.

Returned mine and got 100% of my money back, just found out. So a big middle finger to Lucasarts, I played the game, saw the cr@ppy content on the mimobot, and all for free. Never paid for shipping once. I hope everyone does the same thing. Now I'm just waiting on Black Ops to show up at my door. Something I'm sure will rock my jock more than this pile of steaming Bantha Poodoo.

I probably agree with 99% of the complaints listed in this thread. But let me re-iterate....
1. Lightsabers... give us back a separate choice of ability vs color.
2. Gameplay... Something new would be nice. It plays the same as the first game.
3. Improved Gameplay as promised... fix targeting issues and button response issues that are still the same as the first game.
4. Fix the MAJOR BUG that when the game freezes it corrupts data on the PS3 Hard drive.... This has been around since the first game as well.
5. If you promise us the "Truth" deliver it please... Wookieepedia says we're playing a clone, the dialogue in the game tends to lean that way, but you keep telling us we're continuing the Adventure of Starkiller on the packaging and in these forums. Who's right?
6. etc, etc, etc....
For those people out there who haven't done so... the best way to to be heard is to hit them in the pocketbooks... It's obvious that these complaints fall on deaf ears as the game hasn't had any DLC or Patches yet, it's been long enough.
I got my money back, so should you!
Take your game back and demand your money... tell your friends not to buy it, go on every site you can and give it a bad review....
Truly, It's defective, It's disappointing and You shouldn't have to pay for it the way it is.
If you just keep the game, then that just tells companies like LA that you're willing to accept any crap they release.
Would you buy moldy bread and eat it? No? So why do the same with these games?
I look forward to a time when companies don't release buggy software with content worth paying the price they ask....until then I'll wait.

My family loves Star Wars and we all enjoyed Star Wars: Force Unleashed II for the Xbox360 but I am absolutely disgusted that it lastest barely 5 hours. My childen spent their hard earned birthday money to shell out $60 to get the game on release day to find that it can be finished in less than a day. What an utter disappointment. I sure hope there are plans for some free DLCs soon.... real soon.
Where the heck are the scenes shown in all the TV commercials? What a misleading bunch of drivel.

Ehh what the f... was that?
Wheres all the awesome combos like we had in TFU1?
Wheres the unique levels and customes like we had in TFU1?
This game took me 4-5hours.. It seemed more like a rushed add-on..
If they release DLC and ask us to pay for it they obviously planned it out to be this short so we buy the DLC, what a waste of money, if anyone hasnt bought it, good, dont waste your money..

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… stirs up memories such as "The Force is Strong in This One" and several other memories from a Series that started out awesome, but over time has slowly declined. Unfortunately it is starting to show even in the number one Star Wars Video Game to date which now has a Sequel that is right talking about Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. With owning the first and having played it several times, I was excited for the sequel after it was announced, also after downloading and playing the Demo a week before the release day. Stunning graphics from the Demo showed it was gonna be awesome right? That is what I thought until I bought the game and started playing, the first level was basically the demo with a little extra level to it, okay that is cool. Suddenly I get to the second level on Cato Neimoidia and now the game is freezing and causing hardware issues. Great now I really don't want to play further. So worked through the problem and started to get fun again and the game didn't freeze any further after that. Nice now we are getting somewhere....yeah right more like back to the same level at least two more times. the first game had way more levels. the game turned out very short, and quite lackluster after the second level. With the freezing problem felt that the game was rushed, and it is only more evident by the somewhat bland levels that just feel cut and pasted together. Absolutely nothing was carried over from the first as far as level design, made me feel very bored kind of like Episode III. No game add ons at this point, but if they are going to come out with more they better continue this game further with the add on instead of releasing a sequel to it. The light side ending is longer than the dark side ending, id recommend when you play if you want a decent ending to choose Light, the dark side ending went over like a fart in church. Overall this game I give the score of "The Force is Weak In this One". Game can be beaten in a few hours even on the normal setting. Plagued by glitches and rushed out that the game feels unfinished this is more of a rental and take it back the same day kind of game, definitely did not live up to the hype. could have something to do with the many lay-offs over at LucasArts and the economy in general, but doesn't even live up to the E3 game show accolades it received. You are better off reading the Novels for this series, and playing the first game only. 5.5 out of 10 for the score of it. Game definitely needs to be reworked, and only saving grace for it is a massive game add on.

I really wanna know why the game testers didn't realize all the bugs in this game. I felt it was a very incomplete game in the sense of linear game play, camera angles, character customization, lack of enemies and levels.
This franchise has great potential and i just hate to see it fail.
Plz make some free DLC. if not make it relativity affordable.

I registered just to post this.
Everything that needs to be said about game length, repetitiveness and such, has already been said, so I'll mention a pet peeve of mine that really rears it's ugly face in TFU2..
If you reward people for doing something, they're going to think they're supposed to be doing it. Pavlov's dogs and all that. So, when you give force points for smashing environment, you're telling people to smash environment. Now, don't get me wrong, smashing environment can be fun.. But in a game that's as heavily cinematic as TFU2, nothing can break the pacing more effectively than placing 244.000 slot machines in that casino place.
It's not like it's only force points you miss out on if you don't break every single destructable in the game either.. There's crystals for the lightsabers, costumes and so on.
Seriously, when I played through that whole casino bit, I was tempted to fraps me running around throwing slot machines left and right, smashing them with lightsabers, maybe even roasting a few with lightning, all after I had cleared the room of enemies.. Then upload it to youtube, link it here, and ask if that was the way they intended the game to be played. Because that's what the decision to reward breaking environment promotes, heavily.
... Actually, now that I think about it..
Maybe it's supposed to be a time sink. To make the game longer.
What a joke.

yeah, and in this game your supposedly stronger and the only thing you can do against vader is hurt him with the lightsabers and sometimes get him with lightning, force repulse dont do ****, if you throw your lightsabers they literally just fall right on the ground, obviously cant mind trick him, and i remember in the first one, i was able to throw vader around like a ball, in this game, you cant grip him worth sh*t, so i have no idea how the same people who made the first one, made this one... i just cant believe how different they are... way too many hows? whats? whos? ifs? and whens? in this game
i give it 10/10 stars on how they made it look good :P

I started another thread about Story Mistakes. Don't you love how you basically whoop Vader's butt in the first game, strip him of half his armor, beat the Emperor, and in this one, Vader basically falls to one knee after using force fury on him for about 30 seconds. In Return of the Jedi, the Emperor zaps him for about 7 seconds and he dies. Really Lucasarts? Really?
I never even bothered to play the Unleashed difficulty, you have way more patience than I did, but that sounds right on par with other moronic things in this game. Mine has been returned.

Okay, well i agree with a lot of what you mentioned. i was a big fan of TFU1 and this game that i spent 65$ on, was honestly one of the worse and pointless games i have ever played..
there are loop wholes in the story, and worst of all, its way too short. (i beat the game in one night). there are only 3 levels, i do not count Dagobah as a level at all, considering the only thing you do is run and find Yoda, and you play the same level at the end as you do in the beginning so that is a waste of a level.
Anyways, this game did have some cool and fun parts, but other then those, I was extremely disapointed. the only real bosses you fight are darth vader (big surprise) and the gorog, unlike the first game where you fight all different kinds of bosses.
Now lets talk on how the final battle was, the beggining where you walk real slow is a waste of time, in the first game, using your powers on vader actually did something where in this one, it doesnt effect him at all. then after the battle, if you chose the good side, it shows a clip and vader is held hostage.. it never mentions how he magically escapes and the movie "A New Hope" finally begins.
The next thing is about the game difficulty "unleashed". Instead of making it to where you die in two shots from a clone trooper, they should have made it to where there are more people attacking you. that really got to me.
The story line only talks about starkiller, juno, kota, and vader... oh yeah and that one clip of boba fett and yoda. It doesnt mention anyone else important like the rebel alliance, princess leiah is only in one scene, but no one else just the same charecters and the one dude who owns the arena.
Well, overall i give it a 2 out of 10 stars. very dissapointed on how they decided to make this game, and how much it costs... tsk* tsk* lucas arts

the jedi academy system free roam shpeel sounds like a good thing for the future, frankly right now i wouldnt even believe lucasarts if they even said their fixing things with a dlc, they built tfu2 up to be amazing and it was a massive let down, okay heres where things should be fixed...mind you its alot
:several new levels not just 3 like in the first one, i'd say a good 5, take that money you got ripping us off and give it back somehow! no crap levels ethier. no stupid places we've already been, add in mustafar, or the evil clone attacking a rebel base! n some new places, maybe a freaking dark clone little campaign, be an ******* n kill some rebels,
fix that dark apprentice costume!! please!!!!! it's not awesome without the hood being up! and take away the pure black eyes he's not a mummy! give him those red/yellow sith eyes dammit!
no more stupid costumes like storm troopers and rebel soldiers! NOBODY CARES ABOUT THEM! waste of effort
better lightsabre duals! theirs not one good one in the entire game!
add some freaking difficulty or at least time consuming tasks, it's always been a straight forward kill everything that moves path, make us search for stuff expand the dam worlds!
add a single light sabre option thank you very much!
finally..MAKE THIS HAPPEN OR TFU2 WILL FAIL AND DIE! a few dlcs should be free... prove to us fans that you guys give a **** n then we'll pay for future ones..dont just make 3 little ones do what dead space did n make a bunch! your game will last a long time!

If you're not posting a complaint about TFU 2 then you shouldn't post in this thread.

@patrickBigras
I dont think there will be a TFU3. I am betting this whole thing being like this is they are doing a quick bail out. But if there was plans on a third game then I dont want them even contemplating the third game until they fix the current one. Get that DLC out that finishes the story. That is all they should be worrying about. Nothing else right now.
I never blame people for their mistakes. But I expect them to correct them. Lucasarts just made another big mistake. Now its time for them to Man Up and correct that mistake.
