Picked up TFU 2 a few days ago thru Steam.
Beat the game on Normal (wasn't to long of a game)
Came across videos / sites showing you can unlock a hidden DLC that never made it to the PC.
Tried and Failed to get the Unlocker working.
Did some reading up and found that the DLC Unlocker Only works on Version 1.0?
And that the Patch | Update 1.1 removes the abilities to unlock the DLC?
Sadly when you buy the game thru Steam it always downloads the newest version.
Which means there is no way for me to pick up or revert back 1.0 to use the Unlocker??
I honestly don't see why LA didn't release it for the PC as well.
But to make a patch that destroys the abilities to actually access it? Why??
If anyone has a idea how i could possibly get this working with 1.1 please share.

Agree and agree. Wish LA would listen to us, but I'm afraid they don't really care what we think. If we really want to say something, we can avoid their games (or buy them used.)

Hey Guys,
To me the patch is useless BS. I personally waited to see if it would cause problems with the cracked DLC. Sure enough, it did. I'd rather have the DLC we were able to unlock than have no DLC. It really sucks that Lucasarts won't just let us buy the full DLC like the PS3 and XBox 360. We all know that this stuff is on the disk and it just needs to be unlocked. So what if the patch fixes a few menial things, for me it doesn't affect the overall fun and gameplay.

P.S. This game is too short. Lucasarts please answer our plea and quit all this BS. Please let us purchase the DLC and patch this game right so people can have fun again.

The patch has limited value. I think most would agree with me that you shouldn't use it.

Do you have the patch? If so, if you want the skins simply uninstall and try again. Without the patch.

Thx, I know you try! After all Lucasart should release the DLC for free! They're continue to taking advantages of us of what is already inside the disc! And now we PC are watch as a loser... |

I have already download the Unlocker for DLC and for that, I need to thank you! But I was wonder about Endor content, how to get it or is there gonna be unlocker for that content (If it has, I would really appreciate). Thx

I haven't had any time to get anywhere with it. Been busy with work. But with as much as people are ******** about this game, I can see the developers releasinng a patch fairly quick and I couldn't understand why they wouldn't throw Endor in on the PC version since at least most of it is there. Plus, the only satisfaction I would get out of it would be killing a few Ewoks and saying yay, I can play Endor. But when I get done with my stuff at work, I'll jump back in it.

I didnt look at it...because whitehooptie already tries to add it in game.....i wish him luck but i am pretty sure that it wont work.

Answered my own question with some experimentation Yes it can be done. In the TFU2SaberCrystals.sabercrysal.xml file each crystal has a section that controls what in game function is called. For example:
BlackSaberCrystal
SaberCrystal_Black_Disintegrate
Game/Disc/Runtime/gameActions/SaberCrystalsAssetSet.gameactionset.xml
Is the code that controls the disintegrate function. I successfully replaced the same code section on the Blue saber and now they disintegrate enemies |
