So, to be clear, there is NO WAY to manually (or automatically) save your current in-game location? It is BEYOND frustrating to try to figure out how to jump over something and have to play the WHOLE level AGAIN! Did the designers think this was funny or do they actually believe this is a function of better gameplay? I don't mind a challenge, mind you,.. I do not care for having to waste time going through a level again just to practice jumping and dying again...and again...and again.
Please tell me there is a way to avoid this "Star Wars: The Groundhog's Day Unleashed" loop.
Kind regards,
Sonyv

I waited forever for this game and I cant tell you how frustrated I am. I am a handicapped 50 year old person who is stuck on the couch and the 360 is literally my world, whether it's playing games or streaming Netflix movies. Now I get for my 50th birthday another star wares game that is awesome, expect for the fact that I have to start at the beginning of the level? Come on. For now I am playing Fallout 3 until this can get fixed. If it's not then I would appreciate a final word from someone at Lucas so I can trade it in and get something I can play and get back to when I am able.
Thanks,
Writerman

No way to load a current point in the level? I keep getting killed and am tired of always having to start the new sublevel rather than the point where I fall off a cliff (or something similar)

Thanks for the info, it worked fine. I completed the game, unfortunately had some glitches but it didn't ruin the game so far. Now I want to play the game all over again on a higher level, but somehow it stopped saving the game. Only one piece of data remains saved: playing time. I would say it's a glitch, or is there something I could have done wrong?

I hope that doesn't mean I could loose the force points I've gotten, if not saving?

Is ther any way to save in alternate slots? The support suggests doing so to avoid the DTG but I've seen no possible way to do so...

Using the manual save game option in the menu allows you to save all force point and upgrade progress that you have made, but does not save your current location in the level. It will always load into the last autosave/checkpoint that you have crossed in the level.
Sorry if there is any confusion.
