Fantastic news!!!! thank you so much for bringing it back. I'm hoping that the rest of the series will get the same treatment - and later games like day of the tentacle. Monkey Island was the first game (besides Pirates) that keept me up night after night playing just a little more. looking forward to preordering it - lots of love to LucasArts for making the special edition and for letting Telltale games do a sequel - fantastic!!!

FINALLY!!! Thank you for finally giving the hardcore Lucasarts fans something to look forward to. Please continue this trend and update all your great original IP's. I will buy a copy and tell everyone I know to buy a copy of this game. In my opinion, some other great remakes would be: Monkey Island 2, Indiana Jones & the Fate of Atlantis, Zak McKraken, The Dig, Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, Loom, Full Throttle, Sam & Max Hit the Road, basically every old adventure IP! Please, I swear to buy as many copies as possible if you keep this trend up. Please continue to prove that you do care about your hardcore fans. This is a great first step, please continue to make good decisions like this one. Speaking for all the fans I know, remake Lucasarts into the great studio that we used to know. Thanks again.

It has been a very empty 9 years without Monkey Island, and as each year passed, less and less hope of ever seeing this great series continue. Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, LucasArts, for once again giving us the chance of going back to the world of Monkey Island, reliving and continuing the great games we grew up with.
