S
IGF (Imperial Ground Forces) is the clan for me. We are a big community but we still feel like a tight family. The ranking system is great and everyone is really nice. Im an officer in it. Clans are a great place to make friends and get better at the game.

what is this, revive the dead month? xD
Just go on clanhosted servers. (easily recognized by their tags) if you're good, you'll probably be asked for an xfire adres or icq and to visit their forums.

Hello everybody!
We are a friendly online gaming clan for the PS2, PS3, PC and the XBOX.
We have dozens of friendly members and a very neat and tidy forum, with a cool chat box. We play many games online, on many different consoles. Please pop by sometime to have a look.
The clan is called, The 182nd Legion.
www.182nd.co.nr
Founded by RY3NO!
Thanks you very much.

Well, I started a Clan (513th Legion) but it hasn't kicked off much. It's a lot harder to start a clan and maintain it, then it is to join one. Found that one out the hard way. Anyway, if anyone's interested in my clan (if you're "Clan-Shopping"), let me now!! Either go to the Clan Information thread, and read up there, or go to the forums. It's free and no strings attched. Just to have fun.
EDIT: There was a typo in the URL....Mah bad.

I run =TPR=. Clans are great. They offer the chance to play the game it's ment to be played. You have more control over booting for bad language, TKing and wall hacking where servers with no admin are a nightmare because the game is a fre for all where you can't take 2 steps without being TKed or swarn at for nothing. Also you have a greater variety of server to play on, about 90%+ of the servers are clan servers. Also because they are run by people who love the game the settings are taylored to the people who play the game not designed by some suit and a focas groop. There is also the competition aspect of it. You can have both in clan tournaments so you just play with your mates and if you want more of a challenge you can have clan battles with other clans.
Since joining the clan I have made loads of great friends, we've even met in real life (Not something to do if your under 18) and I couldn't imagin playing the game with out them. You havent plaed BF till you have played it with side that have tactics and are organised and more importantly are your mates.

Wow, I haven't been in a clan since the Jedi Knight days(the first one). I liked the password protected games. Nowadays I prefer to go solo, more kill opportunities, but I still do work with my team.

I play with the 420 crew!
Clan Pros...
- Meet new friends
- You play with more of the same people...rather then just random people all the time. Which makes it easier to have a conversation with someone over the mic.
- You have an opportunity to be part of a larger online organization. It's difficult for one single person to interact with another clan...but it's much easier to meet people from other clans when you're a member of one already.
- Teamwork during online games.
- You most likely have access to clan run servers which are password protected but free of TKer's.
- The replay value of any game you play with clanmates is greatly extended.
Clan Cons...
- It's a lot of work to organize and maintain a clan
- It's sometimes hard to plan times to play together because of timezone and personal schedule conflicts.

I'm in -=SC=- and enjoy being in the clan.
After playing BF1 for a bit, it gets to be just the same ol same ol free for all.
Then you get in a clan and can talk to people while you play. It makes it that much more interesting and adds a whole new dimension to the game.
Plus you get to hear others strategies and compare them to your own.
And the best part, raz someone verbally when you keep on fraggin them, but be prepared to get razzed yourself, because it works both ways, lol.
